Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.
What does Cyber Whale do?
We are a Moldovan agency with four packaged offers: a business platform (shop, CRM, and back office), AI agents inside the tools your team already uses, a monitoring pack, and AI analytics. We work with clients worldwide, with a focus on fintech, insurance, retail, and automation-intensive industries.
How long has Cyber Whale been around?
Cyber Whale was founded in 2017 and incorporated as Cyber Whale SRL in 2018. We are a resident of the IT Park of Moldova.
Where are you based?
31 August 1989 Street 78, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. We work with clients worldwide.
What technologies do you work with?
Business platform: Strapi, Next.js, Typesense. AI agents: Chatwoot, LangChain, LangGraph, Python, LLM APIs. Monitoring: Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Alertmanager, Sentry or GlitchTip. AI analytics: dbt or Cube, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, PostHog, Langfuse, Metabase.
Do you only build new systems, or maintain existing ones?
Both. We deliver greenfield projects, migrate legacy systems, and stay on as long-term partners for ongoing engineering, on-call, and BI reporting.
How do you handle AI transparency?
Our code of conduct requires us to disclose AI assistance to clients - content generation, coding, or management. We document where AI contributed and how the result was reviewed.
What is the unified 7% tax rate?
As residents of the IT Park of Moldova, we operate under the unified 7% sales tax regime (VAT not included). Employees benefit from 0% salary, medical, and social taxes - all included in the 7% rate.
How do I get started?
Book a meeting. We'll learn about your stack, your goals, and your constraints, then propose a delivery plan within a week.
Is Whale One still available?
No. Whale One was our low-code product and has been discontinued. Its articles are kept in the blog, and the offers on this site replace it.
